Im testing out several options for a new server. What do you guys think: do we want the server to be rock solid stable (aka, less bugs) or have more features (aka newer patch version) I have a few in mind that are good compromises between the two, but most lean one way or the other, and i'd like to get your opinions on it. Thanks.

Re: New server
I voted stability for one reason, there's nothing more irritating in mmorpgs when you're in the middle of something and you just keep gettin' kicked out lol. YET I kinda lean in between, do you have any idea if it's major changes in the features or some stats changes, etc? If the difference is big and got more details, I might reconsider.

Re: New server
well the main concern i have is, the new patch revamps the graphics quite a bit, and its much more pretty lol, as well as stormwind gets a pretty big overhaul with a new port that reminds me alot of our old guild wars guildhall. And of course the newer patch has a whole new area (northrend) that is wintery and icy and such, and there is only a small portion of the world that is like that in the previous patches (the dwarf home area), so if we plan on having any wintery/icy areas it would be perfect. The reason i ask is there are server cores out that have the new land areas, but they are not spawned (no bad guys) and the new talents and spells and other features are not implemented or are very buggy. So, theres my reasoning, lol. And of course we can upgrade in the future, when they get more stable, so its not really that big of a deal.

Re: New server
Wait wait, so the port is already released and we can have it this mean? We can go with features as well, as long as it's not VERY unstable and we get kicked out every 5 minutes. I'm not definitly sure lol, you're the one who actually knows whats exactly going on and how it'll run. Because right now, i'm definitly in between rofl. or again, as you said, we can upgrade later and try testing the stability first? gah decision decision lol.

Re: New server
well technically the port and new island arent released, but rather they were leaked. The databases for having the new landmasses are available, but are not spawned with baddies, buggy, etc. If i can find one that is stable but has the new landmasses i'll use that.
